Howard is staying quiet on the Artie debacle. Artie’s family is keeping it private. “I’m going to honor that, and respect that,” Howard revealed.
But Howard was pissed at all the Artie bashing, especially on Stern “Fan” Network. “Artie has given the show tremendous moments of great comedy,” Howard said, “He is a good man.”
And Howard dispelled the rumor that Jim Breuer is replacing Artie, saying it’s not true.

I think Howard made it clear. Its not his story to tell, so he is respecting Artie’s family’s wishes. He’d be a real dick if he spilled the beans when the family asked him not to. Howard is an honorable guy.

I saw that rumor about Breuer over the weekend and figured it was shit.
Hopefully Artie is getting some badly needed serious rehab finally. I just got through with his audiobook. He’s so freaking lucky he hasn’t died or is in jail.

I hope he is getting help too. I heard very, very scary rumors about what he did. If they’re confirmed, all I can say is eek!

We all love Artie and wish him the best of luck, but how long are the producers gonna put up the bullchit. I, like so many think the Stern Show is being taken advantage of. I hate employees that abuse the system. If he worked anywhere else he would have been fired a long time ago. The Stern Show makes it appear like they need him. I really believe he needs them and if Artie was gone tomorrow the show would go on. Best Wishes………..Artie, We love ya enough to let you go. Let him move on. he needs an eye opener. It will help him.

Yeah, I sort of agree with you. Howard doesn’t need Artie, but I think Howard really loves Artie, and probably isn’t interested in bringing in somebody new.
So if you put one and one together, its probably easier just leave the chair open for him than shit can him, and look for somebody else.
The sad part is, and while I don’t have any insider info, Artie is clearly on drugs again. He’s 42 and rich, not 22 and a struggling comic, he should spend every dime on getting the best help money can buy, and commit to it.
If not, he’s just another junkie.

I wish Artie all the best. All though not in the least surprised I feel greatly saddened by the news. If Artie only could see what he had instead of what he doesn’t have. I hope he gets the proper help he needs and gives himself time to heal.
A Howard Fan!
